Tulsa YouthWorks
The YouthWorks initiative was formed to reverse North Tulsa's 58% school drop out rate, 88% 3rd grade illiteracy rate, 1% college/trade school admittance, and 54 year average Black male lifespan by empowering foster children and youths from low income homes to learn how to read and do math, develop and gain trade skills experience, identify and prepare for career dreams, and improve personal health while serving and transforming the health of neighbors.
