One of the most favorite games the kids play is something called “math mountain,” where there are two competing teams trying to build a mountain of bricks. Each kid decides if they are going to try for one brick if they get an addition problem right, two bricks for a subtraction problem, three bricks for multiplication, or four bricks for division. The game helps the kids learn how to figure out math problems while challenging them to try harder ones in order to get more bricks. It is a huge math confidence builder!

This new greenhouse will empower North Tulsa kids to grow and distribute fruits and vegetables to transform the health of their community with the help of dozens of partners of this community.

We are so grateful to the The Kiwanis Club of Tulsa for being the first sponsor of this greenhouse, and to Better Day Farms for being our team of growing instructors and quality control overseers to help the kids succeed in this initiative.
We call it a Multiponic Greenhouse because it will have multiple "ponic" components: hydroponic, aquaponic and aeroponic to teach the kids three different growing technologies.
